"Picture yourself when you were five. In fact, dig out a photo of little you at that time and tape it to your mirror. How would you treat her, love her, feed her? How would you nurture her if you were the mother of little you? I bet you would protect her fiercely while giving her space to spread her itty-bitty wings. She’d get naps, healthy food, imagination time, and adventures into the wild. If playground bullies hurt her feelings, you’d hug her tears away and give her perspective. When tantrums or meltdowns turned her into a poltergeist, you’d demand a loving time-out in the naughty chair. From this day forward I want you to extend that same compassion to your adult self."

Y U NO REPLY!?
Waiting for the university to reply is proving to be agony. I’m drowing myself in fiction, and as glorious as it is, I’ve finished Jane Eyre after just two days, and I can only spend a few hours writing my novel at any one time. =A= I think I ought to make a list of novels I want to read and start working my way through it~
So… the university I applied to are finally getting back to people’s applications.
I’m basically going to be camping in front of my inbox for the next few days I think. *nods*
My Screaming Heart
And no, this has nothing to do with Valentine’s Day.
I almost lost the master file for a comic I had spent two days inking, and I haven’t felt despair like that in a long time. I didn’t think to duplicate the file before resizing and preparing it for the internet, and then I saved. I did it out of a force of habit, but when I realized what I’d done…
I was done with life for a minute.
Mercifully my Dad was home, which prompted me to ask him for help and to start searching for any way to recover the file, which led me to this glorious thread.
For future reference, the internet is awesome.
I’m busy redrawing the comic I started a few months ago (only got as far as three pages before university decided to be demanding), and this is from the panel I’m inking. Andy always makes me smile~♥
Deadlines: The Sequel
After staying up all night to meet my final deadline, I can finally say:
My Scripture Right Now
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9)
